This is a great place with great people. I have had physical therapy in other places before, but this place has been excellent. My recovery time was less than expected. I feel wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Thank you, Life In Motion!!!

Carlos has definitely restored my faith, not only in humanity as a whole but in physical therapy. I thought I could handle it on my own. He is an incredible therapist. He knows what he is doing and really does care about the patient. He really does understand the value of honestly caring for people. I highly recommend Carlos and his staff they are all incredible, very friendly, and very professional.

What is Physical Therapy?

Physical Therapy is a profession dedicated to helping a person maintain, improve, or restore function after disease, injury, impairment, or surgery. For example, Physical Therapy at Life In Motion may help you regain motion and strength after a knee replacement. Physical Therapy may also help you work on your balance or may treat a painful back and neck injury after an auto accident. Whatever the cause, Life In Motion is here to help you return to the activities that are most important to you.

What will my Physical Therapist do?

In order to help you return to the things you love, a Physical Therapist may see from one to three times per week in the clinic. Together, you will set goals that are most important to you. Your Physical Therapist will design a home exercise program that you should perform at home as a supplement to the work that you will do in the clinic. During your therapy sessions, you will get to work one-on-one with your Physical Therapist on things like pain reduction, edema reduction, the range of motion, and strength. Everyone’s condition is unique and everyone’s goals are different – you and your Physical Therapist will decide together how to best meet your needs using a therapy plan that is tailored to you.

Physical Therapy services include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Physical Therapy Evaluations
  • Treatment of traumatic and non-traumatic injuries of the neck, back, shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle
  • “Prehab” prior to joint replacement surgery
  • Treatment after joint replacements of the shoulder, hip, and knee
